Could all of you, currently planning to attend, let me know via this thread
when you plan on arriving. Also, if anyone needs any assistance with
lodging, directions, fly selection,
etc, post it here as well.

Arrrghhh! Don't have enough flies. Where's my formal fishing vest?
Do these waders make me look fat? I CANNOT accessorize at Bass Pro.
Get me to a Cabelas! Uh, weekend with the bride for 25th anniversary,
anniversary on 19th, then club meeting on Wednesday, find someone to
run the board meeting and One Fly tourney whilst I'm away, leave after
work on Thursday 'cause Friday is a "down day" at the base and no
one's working. Arrive Friday 22nd, fish till I puke, head home the
next weekend. Don't have to hear the bride scream at a TV all week
(NHL playoff time).
Uh, yeah, I'll take the top bunk come Friday night. What kind of
flies do I tie?
I'm NOT bringing the barley stew fixin's. Do I need to make a Duck
Butt Award?

charming....I will be there by 8 pm or so. Probably won't fish, but will be
back at camp with a cold one or two.

hmmm, let's re-visit that puking stuff....g

What kind of
flies do I tie?

loaded question. Best guess from right now is(in order of likely usage):
Orange Sulfurs #14-16
Tan Caddis #14-16
March Browns/Grey Foxes #10-12
Yellow Sulfurs #14-16
Sulfur Spinners #14-16
Green Drakes #8
Coffin Flies #8

.....as always, a host of nymphs and wets will serve you
well, especially the first half of the fishing day.

I'm NOT bringing the barley stew fixin's.

you know, we have like 40 pounds of moose meat in the freezer. Can you
re-consider?

Do I need to make a Duck
Butt Award?
Frank Reid

as you see fit. We may have one around the trailer someplace that could be
retrofitted for this year's award.

Will make a duck butt, and a second place. Might even break out the
fancy duct tape.

Plan to arrive 24th, leave 30th. I'll call Rudy to snag a car-camping
spot somewhere near Central.

I'm meeting at least one other Omahan (Greg, a retiring squidly type)
there and we may have Mssr Epps join us. Sadly, Mssr Cyprych's young
lady is requiring him to stay abed for a few more weeks.

Larry

Things in mid and north Montana are delayed at least 2-3 weeks due to a cold
, snowy and rainy spring and a late but large melt
Perhaps we will avoid drought condittions and still be fishing in August
