Default Moose Body Hair?

Okay, I tied one like I believe you described in your earlier post--except I tied the CDC in under the wing. It is tied on a #12 hook.

First 4 pics again.

cool flies

your water is likely very different than mine .... I wnet looking for
photos but didn't find any, quickly

but

Harrop has some very cool patterns for flatter water and I'm "of a
similar school" to Rene

http://www.flyfisherman.com/content/...addis-system/3

the first one is "similar" to what I most use, for adults, may not
float well/long enough for small freestone creek work

you're nearing the quality i'll need on our venture this year. g
....have you done the cdc/elk caddis? it's on a 15 hook...hans must have
a special supply. a 16 will do, and 14 is fine. 12 is a bit big. i
like the palmered adaptation. tie the elk wing a bit sparser for me
though. BSEG i'll bring you a bunch of cdc when i come up there, just
to assist with the new fly factory and production, donchaknow.
