Default Need Help New to fly fishing

Bread fly is popular here for carp. As much as I hate carp, you're in for an
interesting time when you get on the fly.

I know there are carp in the river I fish most often, but every time I have
a fly rod in my hand, I never see any.

I hope you do one day. Carp are a fresh water bonefish and you're in for a
tussle if you hook one!

Cottonwood seed flys, Weed Flys? Its not that unusual for flys to
represent fish food other than insects or smallfish. Hell, a chunky hares
ear nymph looks like a trout pellet.

Steve

I've heard of the cottonwood seed flies and berry flies, I just haven't
heard of a bread fly.

Something new every day.

The things people put in their sandwiches... EEEEeeeewwww!!!
