states-rights reactionaries. They got the Ross Barnett, Bull Conner-like
democrats and they've controlled the redneck south ever since.

The republicans also opposed Medicare.
And now they've done absolutely everything possible to give
Health Insurance corporations the right continue ripping us off, and to
keep upwards of 20 million citizens out of any kind of health care luck
at all.

I'm beginning to think this kind of stubborn
resistance to needed change is a genetic condition. Rational
evaluation of the evidence just doesn't support this kind
of boneheaded behavior.

The only thing non-obstructionist they've ever done is to
drive us into near bankruptcy by slashing revenues (taxes)
and giving most of that the rich, and to start a series of
ill-advised and remarkably expensive wars. *And I count Viet Nam
in that category too, even though Johnson started it. Because
everybody knows Johnson did that because he was so afraid of
right-wing reaction.

Yep, and some of these congressmen have been in on the stealing, fraud
and overbilling of medicare. For Example, former Senator Bill Frist,
whose conflicts of interest, financial disclosure, insider trading and
campaign finance problems caused the group Citizens for
Responsibility and Ethics in Washington to name Frist as one of the
most "corrupt" members of Congress. The Frist family fortunes come
from the Hospital Corp of America, which Wiki says "was the subject of
a decade-long Federal investigation into double-bookkeeping and
suspected criminal fraud involving the bilking of Medicare, Medicaid,
and Tricare (the federal program that provides health insurance to
members of the military and their families)." So much for his claims
to be a patriot.

HCA companies had to repay more than, $1,700,000,000 yep thats more
than ONE point seven BILLION dollars, in fines the largest ever in US
history. And afterwords guess what? the Bushees let HCA stay in the
medicare program!!
I challenge anyone to deny that this occurred. See, for normal
Americans OVERBILLING is what the white collar thieves call it; to the
rest of us it's just plain stealing. Come on whackjobs, explain it
away.

These howling sons of bitches had 12 years to do something about
healthcare reform. They did diddly squat, zip, Nadya. Now, after being
coaxed, offered a role, treated as colleagues, the only thing they
have to offer is to spend MILLIONs to scare elders, lying that Obama's
efforts to crack down on FRAUD by fly-by-night companies and GOP
donors, are cuts in service.

The corrupt ideologues and Snake handler preachers who have captured
the GOP do not deserve the support of real conservatives and
Republican moderates. They stole your party and you owe them nothing.
Soon they will ask you to vote for some of the worst bigots and
theocrats to run for public office since reconstruction. Fight back.
Take your party back. Preserve the American two party system, the

There is evidence that "conservative" IS a genetic condition ...

I'm too lazy to search for the links on X-mas but I've read several
interesting studies. One has shown that people that call themselves
'conservative' have THREE TIMES the brain activity in areas associated
with fear as others, when shown exactly the same images or other
stimulation !! Another study has followed individuals for years
and indicates that it is possible to predict adult political leanings
by observing youngsters and their interactions ... those 'destined' to
conservative politics tend to be much less outgoing and, again, far
more prone to fear, as children.

Apparently, when 'they' engage in fear mongering, it's NOT just a
political game ... they really are afraid and know their constituents
really are too. Change IS often scary, is it not? It's probably
far more so to them.

Although, I've seen no studies to support this observations, I
personally, have also reached the conclusion that weak mental
abilities in the areas of 'empathy' and 'imagination' are strongly
connected to politically 'conservative' individuals. I first
noticed this many years ago in a discussion with a stongly
conservative friend. He simply was incapable of using his
imagination and mentally inserting himself into the shoes of
others, ... and it did appear to be lack of ability in those skills,
not any lack of effort, or lack of 'intelligence'. Since that
conversation, I've noticed the same weaknesses in many 'right wing'
people I've met.

It often seems conservatives simply aren't capable of visualizing a
future that is both different and better. Maybe their brains
really are that limited and they really can't. Maybe we should see
them as handicapped more than as simply self-serving boneheads, ....
maybe it would be fairer to them and make communicating with them
easier.

With the Nation in economic distress and unemployment above 10% , the
Democrats in the House Of Representatives and, now a Senate,
Committee, without even knowing the content blundered thru Obama's
"Cap and Tax Bill". Legislation that could well topple our economy
into a depression. Pure fiscal insanity. For the Kool-aid addicts who
believed Obama when he said that he would give a tax break to 95% of
Americans, hold on to you wallets and prepare for the largest single
regressive tax increase in American history. This "Global Warming"
fraud will prove to be the biggest jobs killer ever conceived; and,
simply ship millions of America jobs overseas to countries such as
China and India. The next time you hear the ranting of an Obamanite,

and the stress of multiple deployments.

There’s something very unique in this entire situation that the state-
run media has completely neglected: how Obama has reacted to various
situations that have arisen during his time in office.

Let’s go back to May of this year. On May 31, an anti-abortion
extremist named Scott Roeder gunned down Dr. George Tiller, an
abortion doctor. Almost immediately, Obama released a statement saying
he was “shocked and outraged” by Tiller’s murder.

Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, immediately stationed U.S.
Marshals at abortion clinics across the country.

A day later, on June 1, the first terrorist attack in Little Rock,
Ark. was committed under Obama’s watch. Pfc. William Long, 23, and
Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, were shot by a man named Abdulhakim
Mujahid Muhammad.

Obama’s reaction to this was more emotionally toned down. He did not
issue any remarks until a couple days later, when he claimed he was
“deeply saddened.” There were no U.S. Marshals stationed at recruiting
centers, as there were at abortion clinics.

Fast forward to July 26. Police in Cambridge, Mass. arrested professor
Henry-Lewis Gates, an African-American professor, for disorderly
conduct and disturbing the peace.

At a press conference on health care a day later, a reporter asked
Obama about his opinion on the incident. Obama said,“I don’t know all
the facts…but I think the police acted stupidly.”

In perhaps the only truthful thing Obama has ever said since becoming
president, he acknowledged he didn’t have all the facts. But he was
quick to pass judgment on white police officers arresting a black man.

This is also because Obama disdains our military. As a senator, he
voted to cut off vital funding to our troops fighting in Iraq and
Afghanistan and voted against the troop surge in Iraq. He is now in
command of the same troops he voted to betray.

As commander-in-chief, he proclaimed that the idea of victory in
Afghanistan makes him uncomfortable and,for nearly three months,
dragged his feet on deciding whether to send more troops to
Afghanistan.
