Default suggestions for walleye fishing info?

I fish for smallies quite a bit in midwest streams/small rivers, and there
are walleyes in some areas.
I have caught a few by accident while bass fishing, but I don't what really
works.
There isn't a newsgroup with any traffic, and I thought there might be some
good forums or websites.
Most of what I've found so far is about northern lakes, as would be
expected.
Any ideas?
thanks
Bill
