I find it amusing each year that while I'm actually out fishing I never
crave new gear ( 'cept for consumables like tippet ), but as I sit here at
home months from any real angling, I start thinking about how I "really
need" a new Winston, or fancy reel, or .... G

The human brain ( well, mine, anyway ) is pretty odd.

Yes you need a new Winston and a new Ross/Abel, both small American
companies sure to suffer in the next few months. Your purchases may
just mean the difference between their survival and their finish.

Besides the BIIt's nad BIImx's are sweet.

AbsoLUTEly! You NEED that new Winston and a Tibor to fit it - in 8wt.
When you discover it's too heavy for trout, just email me for the
address to ship it to. :-)
