Does anyone know where I can get a schematic/parts diagram for
newell's?.

I picked up a couple 338's one 338-5 and an older 338-f. they both have
the same problem, cannot get them to go into freespool mode, the lever
seems to be stuck (won't go back). I'm guessing someone assembled them
wrong because they are clean and in good condition other than the
problem I described.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks
Mike

I'd seen that link before. Good info on changing drag washers, but
nothing about what I need for this problem.

Thanks

I've never dealt with this guy but those I've spoken with highly recommend
him. He may be able to help.
