sage890-3rplxb just bought one at auction
i thought the rod was a three weight cos the three(dope didnt take into
account the 3 pieces) does the b stand for blank and i take it that it is 8weight 9ft am i correct, got it for A$180 i know sage are good if i used a 7 or 9 weight line ok or not |

Hi Tony,
I said to friends after returning from AU, "............and they almost speak the same language as we do." You have a great 9' #8 line 3 piece rod there that should be great for bigger flies and bigger fish. You could use an 8 or 9 line on it but probably not a 7?
