Default Help create better charts

We're running a project to see if depth and position data logged by
boats can be used to help create more up to date and accurate charts,
and we'd like to get sea fishermen involved. Have a look at www.teamsurv.eu
for more information.

You need to have a depth sounder and a GPS on board, with NMEA0183
data output. We supply a logger that logs the data - if you run a PC
on board this can be a software logger, or we have a hardware logger
that logs data to a USB memory stick. The software logger is a free
download, whereas the hardware logger is available on free loan within
our trials areas, or is available at a subsidised price in other
areas.

The trials areas are as follows:
- United Kingdom, Poole to Chichester,
- United Kingdom, Thames Estuary to the Wash
- France - Brittany
- Lithuania - Curonian lagoon and coastal waters

Looking forward to having some of you join in the project.

Tim Thornton
