Abu Garcia Beachcaster importer?
As the title suggests, I have a beachcaster that I would like to find
the import agency for. I'm not sure if it's under warranty or even where I bought it, but it broke during a cast last week. The break is half way up the top section of my two piece rod. The blank seems extreemly thin at this point, around the thicknes of the board used in a cornflakes box. I suspect it was faulty when manufactured. Would anyone agree? I've never inspected a rods "innards" before :-) Regards HN |

Abu have there hq in swansea, but most shops who deal with abu should be able to source you a top section, really depends on how old the rod is and wether or not they still have spares. Thanks for the information. I cannot remember where the rod was purchased, but it is certainly new. I'll give a tackle dealer a try. Regards HN It is supprising how many different rods come off the same mandrel tho. "Hugh Neary" wrote in message .. . If you think your beachcaster is thin, you should see how thin the top section of a fly rod is! |
