How do I enable it? I'm using Windows XP.

Does OE not allow you to kill crossposts? That gets rid of all the crap,
and is immune to the creation of new sock puppets.

Unfortunately not, some other newsreaders can be configured to ignore posts
to more than two groups, I can't recall which one's exactly but I think
Mozilla does this and maybe Pan?...sadly I don't think there's a way of
doing it in OE, although I have been wrong in the past!

Shame. I use TurnPike, which lets you write regular expressions against
the headers, so you can do pretty much anything. Still, OE has never
been highly thought of. I used to like Agent.
