I'm pretty sure I didn't. It sounds as if I'd know...

But as it happens you missed that I was replying to Dave Armes who in his
turn had responded to Dave Lane and commented upon BBQ which I presumed you
had eaten with him, Dave A. Dave A gets around enough that it's entirely
possible you had - following?

So I replied to you accordingly - still with me?

But in fact you were commenting on a session with Dave L who, admitting a
certain haziness of memory (that must have been a good session) proceeded to
assume that he had been at the choccie football dinner but that he had also
partaken of sufficient porter to have mislaid the details.

Hmmm.

I wonder if he (Dave L) remembers what he promised us all at Brenig a couple
of years ago...

yes- twigged this as soon as I'd replied last time - too many Daves
about. I need a holiday.
