Hi Guys,

Never been Salmon fishing before (done lots of fly fishing, trout). Can

Regards,

In your area I'd take a serious look at the Tyne.

The red-hot-tonto-uber-enthusiast would collate details on every river
within reach and correlate with rainfall levels, season and fishcounter
records.

A better approach might be to find a reasonably accessible venue and learn
its ways in detail. If it also has a run of seatrout then you've an extra
incentive to go in low water which will pay off in higher water when
detailed knowledge of the lies will be valuable.

Cheerio,
