Gas has gone up, and so has electricity. So now I can't keep my gold
fish in me aquarium. If I threw them into the river will they make it
past the catfish?

What is the competition between cat and gold fish.............?

As far as I know it is illegal to release fish into the waterways and lakes
with hefty fines if you get caught. It is that way to stop and diseases from
being passed on I think.

I have some very randy gold fish in my pond, from the original 6 I had 83
within 3 years but managed to give them away to local schools. You may want
to investigate that idea first.

No competition, but they do go to bingo with each other on Friday nights.

Now the Catfish and the Dogfish, thats a whole new kettle of pickled
kippers.

Gas ? Electricity ?
Surely "Goldfish" are just Chinese Carp
which can and do live in cold water !!

Use them as livebait for pike fishing,
it's better than any "spoon".

Undoubtably the best venue is Norfolk Broads
where there is also very good sizable Zander
and some really big Perch.

However there are some good local venues
wherever you are. Old flooded quarries and
mineworkings are usually good as well.

have a look at the esox website,
but this is for REALLY SERIOUS
pike people. Even so there are
good tips to be had there.
