Default I have convinced myself I want a new boat.

Nothign wrong witht he boats I have, but I want a new one. I know, "how
does it feel to want?" LOL!!!

I've been looking at boats for a long time, and since the only local dealers
sell either Gregor, Waco, Or Ranger I have looed at those.

I ran across this ont he Ranger website that I found amusing.

Covered:
Defects in the following factory installed parts and components: Warranty
Period runs for three (3) years.
1. Carpet fading

Not Covered:
What This Warranty Does Not Cover:
5. Carpet and upholstery wear, fraying or tearing.

Covered:
Defects in the exterior cosmetic gelcoat finish (cracking, crazing or
fading): Warranty Period runs one (1) year from the date of delivery to the
original retail purchaser.

Not Covered:
4. Gelcoat finishes including blistering, cracking, crazing, fading,
chalking or discoloration (except as noted above).

Basically if your dealer does not like you they can word any claim so as to
disallow the warranty.

Sounds almost like dealing with insurance companies. If you have a claim
you better go in with your atorney's number ready on the speed dial. LOL.

Buying a new boat is a big decision to make an even bigger decision is
the dealer where you buy from. The closer to home is better for any work
on the boat/motor you might need. They might not give the best deal
money wise, but in the long run faster/better service I've found in the
over 30 years I've owned bass boats. Good luck and have fun..
