If you have a visual handicap, you are going about this all wrong. Instead of posting in
all caps, which means you are shouting via written script, you need to increase the size of
the font used to display your UseNet viewing. This way you will see what is written without
affecting all those that are around you.

There is also software that act as a visual magnifier that will effectively increase the
size of the objects you are viewing just as if you were reading a newspaper with a
magnifying glass.

BB I have a lure set up now I use for jugs,, man does it catch the
fish,, I wish I could keep the bass off of it though. I have already
caught two bass over 7 lbs on a dang jug, well at least I know the big
bass are in there, so I laugh a bit and toss them back.

I have some exstreamly soft stretching bungee now, the least jug
movement in waves or wind is transmitted straight to the lure, I rig
these with the new straight up hooks, and a verity of soft plastics, the
catfish love the plastic minnows, and crawfish more than worms.

I'm also using a new scent, it's called Mega Strike, it really stays on
the lures, and all species like it

ROD I BELIEVE YOU. I HAVE TRIED THE PLASTIC SHAD, WORMS, AND EVEN
JIGS. THE PLASTICS JUST GATHERED DIRT. THE LAKE I AM FISHING IN IS
PROBABLY THE BEST CATFISH LAKE IN OKLAHOMA, BUT THE RUN OFF COMES FROM
SANDY AND CLAY FARMLAND WHICH MAKES THE WATER QUITE FERTIL AND ALSO
VISABILITY ON THE BEST DAYS IS ONLY ABOUT 2 FEET. THE PLASTICS JUST
MAKE A GOOD MAGNET DIRT.

I FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHY THE WILLOW BLADES WORK SO WELL. ONE OF HE
BAITFISH IN THE WATER IS THE SILVER SIDED MINNOW. I DON'T KNOW IF
THEY ARE IN ALABAMA BUT THERE THEY ARE MUCH MORE PLENTIFUL HERE THAN
SHAD.

SINCE I TALKED TO YOU LAST I ADDED RUBBER BANDS TO HOLD THE LINE
SOMEWHAT FIRM SO AS TO MAKE THE LINE A LITTLE TIGHTER FOR SELF HOOKING
BUT LEAVES ENOUGH SLACK TO ALLOW THE LINE TO GO UP AND DOWN. IT IS
JUST LIKE JIGGING 24 HOURS A DAY. THE FISH SEEM TO THINK THEY ARE
GETTING A MEAL OF SILVERSIDE, BUT IN FACT IT IS NICKLE WILLOW BLADES
AND STAINLESS STEEL HOOK.

IT IS A KNOW FACT THAT FLATHEAD PREFER LIVE BAIT. I CATCH A LOT OF
THEM AND SUPRISINGLY MOST ARE HOOKED IN THE MOUTH.

LAKE ELLSWORTH BACK IN THE 60'S WAS ONE OF THE BETTER BASS LAKES. BUT
IN THE LAST 20 YEARS THE STATE HAS CONCENTRATED ON STOCKING HYBRIDS,
WALLEYE AND SAUGEYE. SINCE DOING THAT ABOUT THE BEST FISHING IS BLUE
CAT. OF COURSE THERE ARE BASS, LARGEMOUTH, SAND, AND SMALLMOUTH.

I CATCH A FEW CRAPPIE AND SANDBASS, BUT VERY SELDOM A LARGEMOUTH.
WALEYE OCCASIONALLY. YEAR BEFORE LAST I CAUGHT A 23 AND 25 POUND
DRUM. I DID NOT KNOW THEY WERE IN THE LAKE AT THAT SIZE.

ONE GOOD THING, I HAVE NEVER CAUGHT A TURTLE, JUST FEED THE
OCCASIONALLY.

AND OF COURSE IN THE FALL I CATCH A FEW COMOURANT.

WE HAVE ONE CLEAR WATER LAKE, BUT THAT IS WERE THE BOATERS, SKIERS,
AND WATERBIKES ALL GO. IN THE SUMMER LOTS OF MAN MADE WAVES.

IF I EVER MOVE MY LINES TO ANOTHER LAKE WHERE IS A GOOD POPULATION OF
BASS OR OTHER TYPES OF FISH I THINK THE PLASTICS WOULD WORK GOOD.

I MUST HAVE THE MEMORY OF AN ELEPHANT. IN THE EARLY 70'S I HAD A GOOD
FRIEND OF HAD THE THEORY OF THE ROUGHER THE WATER THE BETTER THE
FISHING. THAT ALWAYS STUCK WITH ME.

I MOVED MY LINES TO THE NORTH END OF THE LAKE WHERE IT IS ALWAYS
ROUGH, AND THAT IS WHERE MOST OF THE FISH HANG OUT. IT IS PROBABLY
THE WIND BLOWS THE PLANKETON, AND THE BAIT FISH FOLLOW THE PLANKTON,
AND THE GAME FISH FOLLOW THE BAITFISH.

I ENJOY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE SCIENCE OF FISHING.

WHEN I TELL PEOPLE I CATCH A LOT OF CATFISH ON ARTIFICIAL BAIT THEY
DON'T BELIEVE IT. I GUESS THEY THINK I AM SOMEWHAT OF A GOOK. I
DON'T CARE WHAT THEY THINK. I CAN USUALLY OUTFISH MOST OF THEM, AND I
AM WILLING TO SHARE MY SECRETS, BUT MOST THINK WHEN YOU BUY NEW HOOKS
THEY ARE SHARP.

IN 2001 I BOUGHT ONE OF THE UNDERWATER CAMERAS, BUT THE LAKE I FISH
EVEN ON INFRARED YOU CAN NOT SEE OVER 3 FEET.

IF I HAD THE TIME AND ENERGY I WOULD ENJOY TROLLING WITH A CAMERA IN
SOME OF THE LAKES THAT HAVE CLEAR WATER.
