Default Stocks reservoir opening day

As the weather had been so bad I decided to give the opening weekend a
miss.
Big mistake.
I've just had a look at the report on the website
http://www.stocksreservoir.com/
and heaviest bag was a massive 81 fish (two anglers tied for this) and
average bag was 22.6 fish.
Still, might have been a good thing I stayed at home - been a bit
embarrassing to have blanked.

Cheers

Have tomorrow pencilled in - not in a desperate rush given the weather
or if they are crawling up the bank giving themselves up etc

My feelings exactly. It's nice to catch fish, but when they hurl
themselves at anything chucked at them it's bit difficult to feel any
real sense of accomplishment.

Admittedly I don't much care for the other extreme, where you have to
flog yourself to death trying alternative strategies and fly patterns
just to get an offer, but given the choice of somewhere in the
spectrum between all or nothing at all, I think I'd settle for
something a lot nearer to the nothing end.

Cheers
