I lubriicated my reels and lines today

3 months away, at least, from fishing
Snow and rain - rain and snow
the rain has fu**d the skiing so

Gotta play and listen to --- more music and watch more movies
but--- Watching fishing DVD's will drive me off the cliff

What do most of you guys do in the off fishing seasons?

Fred

There is no off season, Fred.

Leave in the morn for Tiera del Fuego.

I spend the winter holidays, starting in early November, in the SF Bay
Area, fixing up the house, gardening, reading, going to the gym, hanging
out with my family, and eating too much.

In the New Year I go to Stanley, Idaho, where I mostly ski (XC skating,
downhill in Sun Valley, and not much backcountry skiing because I'm
terrified of avalanches), play a little hockey, tie a few flies, shovel
a lot of snow, lose weight, burn a lot of wood, drink too much, watch
tennis and politics on the TV, and make plans for the summer.

Then back to the Bay Area, usually in May, until the Northern Rockies
fishing kicks off after runoff. This May, however, I'm planning to fish
the Duck Valley Indian Reservation in Nevada with an old ROFFer.

I'm leaving for Idaho tomorrow morning.

Still here until tomorrow morning.

Tight lines in Tierra del Fuego. Are you fishing for those big sea-run
browns? I've heard stories and seen awesome photos. Lots of night
fishing, so I'm told.

I've looked at that area on maps and heard tales

My kid graduates from UOP mid May, then I head towards ... somewhere with
trout and the kind of pretty real estate they prefer, but not exactly sure
where yet
