Smallie Beavers

Has anyone here tried Reaction Innovations Smallie Beavers or the Yo
Mama Black Magic baits? if so how did you fish them and how did they
work for you.

Yes, I found beavers to be an adequate flip bait, but have a tendency to
block the curve of the hook. Some folks swear by them. I switch to the
Venom beavers. With their zipper style body they have the same visible
profile, but nowhere near as much plastic to block the hook set.

In the spring and summer fish craw colors with the tails seperated and the
bait perpendicular to the hook. In the fall fish bait fish colors and turn
them parrallel to the hook with the tails still attached.
