It got real drunk out.

I don't know all of what I did and would prefer not to know At least until
next year and maybe I won't be so inclined to do it again.

When I don't have breakfast ready for a guest, I feel remiss in my duties
as host.

When a person doesn't stay for coffee, I know I must have been rude the
night before.

Vince, I most sincerely apologize for my behavior and bad attitude. I t was
such a delight meeting you earlier, streamside.

I hope last impressions aren't lasting.

John, I knew when I drove to the Clave on Monday that I'd have had to
leave early the next morning. I had other obligations I had to
fulfill. I regret that was the case; I'd have liked to stay for
coffee and conversation with you.

We're a one-car family, because we normally need only one car. (We
put only about 3,000 miles per year on the car.) But occasionally, as
during Penns Clave, it would be nice to have two.

Drink is not truth serum as some put forth. It's bull**** nectar, and is treated
accordingly in my book. Anything said under its influence is suspect and best
forgotten.

John, thanks for leaving the additional towels on our doorknob. I had
assumed they were some of Mike's dirty clothes or something and I think he
thought the same of mine -- we didn't realize they were fresh clean towels
until cleaning up to leave. And while I never found anything offensive, if
I had, it would have been more than outweighed by your generosity and
camaraderie.

And in my continuing effort to spread my belongings across the lower 48
states you likely find a grey Roots sweatshirt hanging around your
picinic table that's mine. If you wouldn't mind shipping it I'll be
happy to reimburse costs. If anyone found a brand new wading staff with
an LLBean wader belt wrapped around it rewards will be paid before
SWMBO finds out how much I paid for the damn thing.

I have that sweatshirt. We assumed it was Frank's or DavePA's or someone
else I'd likely have run into later that night. Send me your address and
I'll ship it. No need for reimbursement....unless it's with a new LL Bean
wading staff...

actually...you make a great martini, cook a delectable sweet sausage,
maintain a clean abode, and provide hilarious commentary in the process
of it all... who the hell could be put off by any of that? i say
"encore"... and hope i am invited to attend.

jeff (and, btw, the one-liners at the millheim?...well, my side still
hurts from it... hell, we should chuck the lobster and pay you and
davepa and tim for those hours.)

No problem Jeff. You left the six pack cardboard thingy but they have a
website you can order a Penns Brook T-shirt from with the river FF'er
logo.
