Default Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier rubble piles

Most people who live in or around the Tampa area know that rubble from
the center section of the old bridge was placed around the ends of
that bridge which still remain (and serve as fishing piers.)

The question I have is - was there any rhyme or reason as to how the
rubble piles were arranged ?? I am sure there must have been .......

But, are they on one particular side or area of the fishing piers ??
Or were they placed in various areas around both sides of both piers ?

Parallel ?? or perpendicular to the piers ?? Are they within easy
casting distance ?? Are they visible at all, maybe during low tide -
or at certain times of the day ???

I've only been to the area twice - both times as a tourist, not as a
fisherman ... but I do want to fish the area, relatively soon. I was
also curious if anyone has thoughts as to which pier, the north or
south pier - is more productive .....

thanks

GR - Tampa Bay
