Need Help
Hi all,
Got my Champion Bass Boat out of storage and from the dealership this weekend. The rubber bumper strip that goes around the boat has pulled loose on the starboard side of the boat up near the front end. It looks like it has little nipples that fit into small holes in the gunnel of the boat. I don't know if they once were attached to something or if they were just glued in there. In any event, I could never get to whatever's on the inside. So . . . Does anyone have any ideas on how to reattach, is there some adhesive I can use? Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance guys/gals for your help. Mike -- God Bless America Josh The Bad Bear |

The insert in the rub rail is just a press fit. There are a few (very few) boats with a one piece rub rail./ Not sure how they are attached. If sealed at all most guys use clear Seal All under the rub rail. -- Bob La Londe Fishing Arizona & The Colorado River Fishing Forums & Contests http://www.YumaBassMan.com -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |
