This is a very OLD vintage wooden box full of all kinds of stuff needed for
fly tying!

Box measures 14 x 9 x 5 inches.

I know nothing about fly fishing or making the lures.

You get what is in the pictures.

I see some kind of tools, hooks, misc feathers and string in the box.

Looks like Everything you need to make genuine old materials Fly fishing
baits and lures!

There are some envelopes that are labeled - they a Yellow Turkey Tips,
Grizzley Hackle, Ostrich Plumes, White Turkey Tips, Chenille Asst. Colors,
Tinsel, Yellow Hackle, White Hackle .

Speaking of sheetin' far and savin' matches, I saw a "Herter's" label in
the pile o' material, and from the picture, that vise looks like a
Herter's model of the Thompson type (which isn't all THAT old). That
speed bobbin can come in pretty handy on some ties, for those that have
never used one (although it looks like the kind without the fine tip -
if it is, and a novice reading this gets this kit, make sure the tip is
sm-o-o-o-th).

FWIW, if someone wanted to get started tying, this isn't the worst thing
out there if it could be had for around 25-35USD. And for the record, I
have nothing whatsoever to with the auction or the offerer.

TC,
R
