I think I got the answer to the casting question. It all boils
down

to
one
important piece of equipment: Dice.

Nope, but you seem to be getting closer. It may come to you if
you

ever
get
on a roll. ( Of course you will have to get out of the barrel
first).

Do you grease your dice with bacon fat? Just wondering, as you
seem

to
have
a veritable multitude of uses for the stuff.

If you were actually interested in knowing the answer to the
casting

and
other similar questions, then it would be better to refrain from
all

this
sidetracking.

Ha! I'm just following the old timers!

You've posted stuff on this group going back to 2000, so your newbie

shtick is
wearing thin. It seems like just about every post was worded to troll
a response.

The good news is that you also seem to go away after a month or so of

flurried
activity.

Oh yes. Five messages between 12/1/1999 and 1/1/2002. What does this
indicate to you?

That's right, you were around just long enough to accuse my TU Chapter of
buying up all the fishing rights on a certain creek in Rochester, and
posting the property. You told a story of some old guys throwing rocks
into your hole, and said this was you primary reason for applying for a
pistol permit.

I just can't see why some people seem to have a hard time getting on with
you.

Well, taken at face value, it would indicate to me that you've been
interested in fly fishing for over four years but still can't cast.
But I have to agree with Timmmay, you're a troll and are not to be
taken at face value.

A perceptive fellow has noted that you are obviously a twit of the
sort who never lasts long in this looney bin.

But it's been fun while it lasted.

Yes, he does. Through his grease.

No, merely rising on a point of information to remind folk that Wolfgang
isn't the only person you've had disagreements with. There's a wonderful
crossposted gun thread back in Feb 2003 that's worth revisiting as well.

As I recall, in the TU discussion, when you leveled your charges, which
were then proven wrong, you didn't even bother to correct yourself.

When you have strong opinions, and you express them, you shouldn't be
surprised when a ****ing match ensues.

Better than having NO opinions, isn't it?

Ahhh, the dreaded "Fly fishing in Puerto Rico" thread/fiasco.

IMO, no. Your opinions, many unfounded, have negative connotations and
aspersions cast at some group (women, gun owners, TU, other fishermen, etc.) Try
stating something *without* putting someone else down in the process.

But wait....I *am* a gun owner. Confusing, isn't it?
