Default Passing of a friend

I went down to the river today, intending to fish, but never got around to
it.

I DID, however, dig out my trusty ole fishin hat and noticed just how dirty
it was. When I got home, I sprayed it with some stain remover stuff my
wife had in the laundry room and tossed it in the washer.

I just this minute went to retrieve it, and I'm very sad to report it didn't
survive ... the entire hat, from the brim up is just shreds of threads.

I'm off now for a quiet, private, service and a last few minutes with my
old, shade providing, special place sharing, always trusty friend, before we
part forever. :-(

Sorry to hear of your loss. I had a Stetson Three Forks hat for about 7 or 8
years before the new dog tore it to shreds....Still miss that hat.

Do you miss the dog as much?

My sympathies on the hat, but my sadness at present is focused on my Olympus
Stylus 300 that SWMBO just dropped on the lens. It's probably not supposed
to have that 10 degree bend in the middle. :-((((((

IMHO the proper burial would be at your favorite honey hole where you and the
departed must have spent many enjoyable days as you said shade, keeping the
baldspot from getting sunburned.....if an investagation is pursude on the death
of the hat you are the number one suspect as everyone knows you hand wash a hat
buy putting it in the washer it drowned and could not protect it's
bill......you might concider hiring one of those southern lawyers just in case
your bald spot presses charges..........

Hope you shot the F**** dog! Even my cat has more sense than to bugger about
with my fishing hat!

Of course, there is little point in shooting a washing machine.

Ahh, but so satisfying.

Perhaps there is something to be said for the right to possess a .45 magnum
after all!

Naw Mike. Dogs are basically Buddhists. They keep us from getting too
attached to material possesions.

g.c.

Unless of course you are fond of frayed, holey and splintered possesions.
