Some of you that have attended the Northwoods Classic have met my daughter
Rebecca and her husband "Inky."

They are the proud parents of Issac Steven William, a big name for a
little boy. At 7 lbs. 14 oz., 20.5 inches, he wasn't really so little.

It was a tough delivery with some complications, but mom and baby are
doing well.

I've got another rod to build.....

forward to living long enough to do myself. Heck, I hope we all live long
enough to spoil the great grandkids.

That's great Steve! Without the joy our children, and their children
bring us....it would be hard to fill the void. Enjoy the "times"!

I just returned from visiting with Izzy (and you're right Joe, his name is
spelled Isaac). He's the same weight as my Big Bass at the Southern
Classic, but I don't think as long.... He is cuter and hairier than the
bass though.....

He's got a bunch of tubes running in and out of him for the next couple days
due to those complications, but the doctors assure us that he's fine and in
a couple days will be free of all attachments.

Becca is doing great and Inky can't hardly talk he's so excited. Well, he
has a hard time talking anyway, but now it's even worse! :-)

In case anyone's interested, I did post a picture and here's the link.

Still pure crap! I still have chest pain and shortness of breath almost
daily that the doctor's cannot find a cause for. But, I'm still able to sit
up and take nourishment and pester the heck out of Janet, so I guess I'll be
around for a little while longer.

My return to firefighting however is somewhat dubious at this point......

LOL, I ain't skeered! With 95 square feet of fishable deck space, I'll be
able to work with this boat for a little while longer.

Besides, with the size of the rod lockers, I can put Becca, Inky and Izzy in
one of them when I'm running! :-)

So, when you coming up for a visit?
