Default Hofer's Have Reproduced in Colorado

Scientists in Colorado say that a breed of trout with natural
resistance to whirling disease has naturally reproduced in the wild.
The strain is a cross breed including the hofer strain and others.

Mixed feelings about this. Assumption that it's great news for the
rainbow fisheries in Colorado. Not sure what it means to the cutthroat
trout populations in Colorado. I suspect initially it means that we'll
dump a lot of these around places to see how they do.
