Default St. Johns

Anyone have any info on Fly Fishing in St. John's? What type of flies / fish
will I be after? I will be there in mid-March. If you've been there, please
let me know about your experience. I'd love to hear it.

If you're interested in flats, there's one flat on St John, on the N Side of
the island just down from the Annaberg Sugar Plantation ruin. It's a
beautiful flat, real good for wading, and I'm told there are Tarpon and
Bonefish there at times.

I was there in December for a few hours and the water was pretty cold - I
saw turtles, snappers, some small barracuda and a shark. I'd love to spend
several days there in warmer weather. Bring DEET for the no see ums.

I know exactly the area you're referring to, the spousal unit and I visited it
last spring and the overlook view was gorgeous. I didn't see anyone fishing it
at the time but it sure looked to be worth a shot...
