I had a Cabalas reel "black label" or something like that that wasn't worth
2 cents. I couldn't send it back fast enough.I then bought my first 201
curado that is paired to a "fish eagle 2"..The reel is great and the rod
used a lot

The Prodigy spinning reel is my all time favorite. I don't know much about
the Prodigy baitcaster, but if it was put together with the same attention
to detail and quality as the spinning reel you may have a winner on your
hands.

Does anyone know what the Prodigy baitcaster is based upon? The spinning
reel is a "dolled up" Capricorn.

I've got two of them (three if you count the identical original BassProShops
RC-1). No problems, I think they are great reels for the money.

The Pfleugers are the same as the current BPS Rick Clunn Reels (& the Morris
sig line).
