I WISH I knew something, anything about the Bahamas, but sadly, I'm stuck in
NJ......I did however just install my new Tica Libra 4000 reel onto my
plugging rig, with a fresh load of braid, and a new leader, and I can see it
from here, even tho it does me absolutely no good here in this 18 degree,
snowbound hellhole with no chance of any serious fishing for at least the
next 6-7 weeks.
Good Luck to you in the bahamas tho, make sure you report back and let us
know how you did.

Ed

Come on now -- The Manasquan isn't frozen over and there isn't too much ice on the Jetties.

I'll let ya know fer sure...
Hope it's good news!!!
It'll be my first "big" fishing trip.
I'm in southern Ohio so it's quite the trip to good watrers.
Have spent quite a few weeks in Chioncoteague,VA but really
looking forward to this trip.

Not having any luck on info...
I booked a full day with one of the charters and doing a half day with
another.
Can't seem to find any info on any other options tho. Wish I could drag
my boat
with me

Have a good weekend.

Chet

Did not get to fish when I was in the Bahamas, but look for a local flats
guide. Saw fisherman flats fishing in St. Johns, and I still want to do
that for Permit, etc.

Hi Chet, saw your post about the Bahamas. Since I just got back from
there--and am from Ohio, too--I can recommend a couple of places and
operators depending of what type of fishing you're looking for. I
flyfish almost exclusively and my destination of choice is Andros
Island for the awesome bonefishing to be had there. Let me know what
you're looking for and when.
