thanks david...all were caught on a "redfish magic" lure using spinning
gear. in the areas we fished they aren't tailing, so a fly rod would
wear you out blind casting. there are decent flyfishing areas in
shallows that are tough for most boats to get to...but, i've been having
success on light spinning tackle and really prefer it for our puppy drum.
