While Rich was dealing with the first snowfall of the year, Charles Summers
and I carved out a few hours this morning to soak up some southern sunshine
on Blue Cat Lake in the Williamsport Lake Wildlife Management Area, a TWRA
area about an hour south of Nashville.

We caught a couple dozen largemouth and Cherokee bass there, and when the
wind swept us off the lake, moved over to the more sheltered Shellcracker
Lake for the last hour of the day.
