Default Sage Rod

A few years back I built a rod from a Sage blank.
I can't remember which blank.
Does RPL or RLP sound right?
If so what do the initials stand for?
And if anyione knows what generation
of graphite was it? Any help will be
appreciated.

Reserve Power Lightweight. Sage called it Graphite III.

I have a 590-4 RPL, I call it first generation fast.

RPL was one of the lines produced by Sage - maybe 10 - 15 years ago.
Not sure what it stands for.

RPII was the predecessor of RPL. IIRC that was an IM6 blank.

Makes sense. The RPII line which preceded RPL was IM6, (Sage Graphite II).

Its been a while since I built my 896 RPII. I didn't recall the year.
So, yeah, I missed the year.

But still partial to my 389LL.

The RP line, what Sage called Graphite II, corresponded to IM8.
The RPL line corresponded to IMX.
