Actually, it's not a fishing post, it's a blatant commercial post.
Commercial posts are prohibited under Usenet protocol.

website are generally not welcome in any newsgroup.

No this is not a pictures site, it is a newsgroup that allows binary
posting--*PICTURES* and other non plain text file formats--but not the
promotion of commercial businesses and/or websites. Your post had nothing to
do with fishing, except to promote your product, which is against most every
Usenet providers terms of usage policies--

Now if you want folks all over the world--this is an international forum
afterall--to know that you have no scruples and couldn't careless what they
think, I'm sure most won't mind not purchasing your products and
recommending that other not provide you with added income. Of course, being
a businessman yourself, I'm sure that you won't try to damage your
businesses credibility by flaunting accepted Usenet protocols/rules.

I surmise that you are either Canadian or you subscribe to a Canadian ISP,
Highwinds Media Group. Well just in case you failed to read their terms of
agreement, here is the section describing SPAM:

"Highwinds considers spam to be any message which does any of the following:
imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on Highwinds'
infrastructure; is of a commercial nature; solicits entry into a web page;
promotes or solicits the services of a business, charity or person; contains
a file which is labeled with a URL address; promotes or offers a product or
service; is a repeated posting; or solicits people to purchase or sell
anything (except on an occasional, personal, basis such as the sale of an
automobile in a usenet group designed for such posts). Highwinds does not
tolerate any spam in its Service."

Best to ya,
