What is the best way to keep pumped sandworms alive for a few days?

Hi Alan,

I've found wet newspaper or those empty 20kg potato bags ( soaked in water),
to be the best.
Just spread the worms out on half of the newspaper/bag, then just fold the
other half over and put em in some sort of rectangular container.

Good fishing,

-Hunter

not sure which sort you mean..... we used to pump them when i was a kid in
vic... spew worms and wrigglers rock worms etc... used to keep them alive in
sand in a felt hat.... dip the felt hat in salt water daily at least.... and
keep it in a dry place.... dunno where you would find a felt hat these days...
but you could make something up out of a spud bag i guess... try it and let me
know... pete

where do you fish... i am in south east qld
