To keep it a little on topic, I will ride it to my ponds to bass fish!

What do you know about 4-wheelers? Linda wants to give me one for Christmas. I
have found three used ones and can't decide. The price is fine on all three.

1. 2000 Polaris 400 cc 4 wheel drive with big wheels, new brakes, shock covers,
2 racks, 2 stroke, 500 miles - $3,200 - comes with truck loading ramps and a
deer stand.

2. Suziki 500 cc 4wd 800 miles, 4 stroke - 2000 model I think - $3,500

3. Honda 450 ES 4wd, 4 stroke, $4,000.

All are in excellent condition

I have used a Honda atv but found that to adjust the brakes
was a real hassle we ended up taking it to the shop to do
we also had lots of trouble with the transmission on it
it would "lose" first gear all the time.
Polaris makes awesome skidoo's and the Polaris that your looking at looks
like a good deal.
would be my choice

My sister bought a Honda 450ES while Sue and I were staying there and I was VERY impressed. I'm a BIG guy and I couldn't get it
stuck even when I took it down to the swamp (stuck is when you are deep enough to need help getting out). You don't need to take
your hands off the controls to shift gears or change from 2WD to 4WD. Good on regular gas and very easy to maintain. We had it
loaded with 3 deer and myself without problem (5 people were hunting) on here farm through the snow (about a foot). Doc

I would opt for the Honda, 4 stroke, 4WD... but you didn't state what year
it was. However, the Suzuki isn't a bad bike either. I don't think you can
go wrong with any of the 4 strokes.

Ah Ronnie.....

There is plenty of room in my shed if storage is a problem - and your
bride can't decide on just one.

Any of them sound like they'd work for moving the fish house around
on the ice.....I'd be glad to keep one in good running condition.
