I've revaned a few. It's almost impossible to match the original unless you
have one to copy - so err on the smallish size (or be prepared to work on it
after fitting - but time spent filing on the beach is fishing time wasted.)

You can try using thick soft polyethylene - harder to stick but easier to
shape on the beach.

The long thing shallow divers are not too hard to repair. Deep divers and
short bodied models are rather more critical.

Shallow angle = deep diver, the steep angle downwards = deep and deeper
diver.
