Default Tad poles

The guy who supplies my little shop in my garage came by with the next load
of shiners yesterday. In with them was about a half dozen big fat polywogs.
I am thinking these will make some sweet Largemouth bait.
I have seen guys on TV bait frogs through the lip. is there a technique for
fishing tadpoles? Do fish even care about eating them?

Maybe I should just take them back to the pond to let them go?
Does anyone out there fish with these guys?
