I left my crankbaits in my boat this winter and they all have rusty hooks.
Some got rust on bodies. Whats the best way to remove the rust?

Wipe off the rust, replace the hooks.

It's not too expensive to just replace the hooks

Replace the hooks...use a pencil eraser on the body to rub the rust off.

Before you do anything drastic, try soaking the hooks -only- in some CLR.
You should be able to suspend the lure above the CLR so you don't have to
take every one off. I haven't used it on hooks, but it refinished a couple
of rusty spoons for me.
