That brings back memories of good fishing. I never caught one that size. The
largest I saw was caught by our "guide" I posted a picture of him here a few
years back.

They were awesome. We fished the Rio Negro in January and while the
fishing was slow due to high water the fish we caught were fantastic.
Peacock bass hit harder than anything else I've ever seen. They tried
to absolutely destroy the lure, line, rod and reel.
