Does anybody own a Scorpion Reel from Shimano? I love that reel, had to
order it from Japan. That's the baitcaster I use for my Senkos, and wacky
worms, in the Summer.

We've got quite a few of us in here that use Scorpions, and you don't have
to get them from Japan. We get ours from Brookly Bill's, who also is a
sponsor of some of our Classics.

I own 5 of them, probably the best reel for the buck IMO.

I've got about 6 of the 1000 model (right hand) and absolutely love 'em.

1001, Lefty retrieve, why do most people reel spinning reels with their left hand and baitcasters with their right? I see it all the time, still baffles me

Here's one for ya,

On all of my spinning reels, the handle is on the left. But... the ultra
light rod and reel, the handle on the right. It's the only one that I can
accurately cast with my left hand.

Because it feels comfortable to me. I've tried moving the reel handle on
the spinning reels, and I feel like a klutz casting and reeling.
