some of the topics on roff get rather long-- think one now going has
200+ messages
Is there any way to delete messages as I read them or do I just have
to scroll down thru the mess to see if there are any that have been
added unread ? thanks
Joe

Depends on your reader. Most will allow you to have only unread

The news reader in Windows Live Mail will allow you to delete an entire
thread or individual messages.
