Default 4 Star Resort Ice Fishing in Canada

Hello anglers around the globe.

Ice fishing in Canada is important to Canadians. In a recent survey
here at the air base on Lillabelle Lake, ice fishing outscored golf,
naps and even women but ranked third behind ice hockey and beer. I am
sure, that to many parts of the world, our winter passions must seem
unusual. Canadians tend to sports fish for pleasure more so than for
sustenance. Most of us don't need to fish in order to eat. Yet there
we are drilling holes through three feet of ice in -50 degree Celsius
temperature in order to have a chance to catch one. We think it is fun
to go ice fishing. It makes for a great outdoor activity. Ice huts come
with wood stoves and chimneys and can be quite cozy even in the most
bitter cold.

Ice fishing hut rentals is an offspring of winter angling catching on
as a tourism activity. We have ice fishing huts right here at the lodge
ready to pull out onto the ice at any time.

Drive or snowmobile to a more secluded cottage accessible by trail
only. We have some over at the Abitibi River too.

You can rent motel rooms at the lodge. Have wholesome family-style
meals in the dining lounge and soak in the hot tub at night with your
friends. Bring your own food too as all rooms come with kitchenette.

Our lakeside and trail-side lodge is conveniently located directly on
the main trail North to Moosonee. Everybody stops through here.

We listened to last year's guest and wanted to facilitate catching
yourself a trophy pike ice fishing, while staying with us on your
incredible snowmobile vacation. This is it, the perfect Canadian winter
vacation combination.

Trophy pike fishing ice huts 200 feet from your doorstep. We'll even
keep the hole open for you. Walleye lakes are within a couple of hours
ride. Ice fishing in Ontario Canada's James Bay Frontier is
exceptional. Record size northern pike lurk beneath the lake's
snow-crusted shell. Adventure seekers can head out further into the
thousands of miles of well-maintained snowmobile and 4 wheeler trails.
Stop by the many trailside restaurants for a hearty friendly meal. We
keep up-to-date Northern Ontario trail conditions reports posted daily.
Special Snow Festivals and Winter Event are held in Cochrane each year
and we are the festival's winter snowmobilers choice.

This winter, maybe we'll see you in the James Bay Frontier.
