OK, I guess, but the peanut butter issue hasn't been settled to my

that the only good candy bars have peanuits or at least peanut butter in the
ingredient list (or almost as good, almonds). Take Snickers for example - a
masterpiece of American candy. Contrast with Milky Way which is just ****
poor in all ways.

I'm curious about something. Have you been studying Wolfgang on ROFF as a
lurker for awhile, or did you pick him up as you went along? Or, maybe
you're a regular posting under a pseudonym. In any case, well done.

My local wine barn has probably the best selection of bargain bottles
anywhere, and you can pick up a bottle of drinkable pinot noir for about
ten bucks. To an untrained and unappreciative palate, this stuff
actually tastes similar to, and is an acceptable substitute for, the
subtleties of a well-crafted Sonoma Valley pinot.

Joe, if you find:

well, you're stupid; it wouldn't do you any good.

you are a fool

Stupid. Stupid beyond description.

That's because you are stupid.

those who already espouse the view you put forward, are congenitally
stupid

Stupid.
Just plain stupid.

Stupid.

Just plain stupid.

you are an abject fool

Stupid.

Just plain stupid.

Good God, you are stupid

God you are dumber than Janik.

I'll reserve the right to
remind him that his ass sucks wind

a necrophiliac, an idiot, and
unsavory to boot

you are an
idiot

advice is lost on one as deranged as you

he
IS an idiot.....but he is nowhere near as stupid and self deluded as
yourself.

Yeah, but you're an idiot.

Stupid. Just plain stupid.

****in moron

You are a pathetic ****ing moron,

Fool

come on you
piece of **** moron..

Dang, you really are dumb.

YOU DUMB ****!

you are an abject fool

You're a liar

This makes you a liar as well as an idiot.

you are a liar

And you are a liar

Well, yeah, but you're a liar.

Hm......liar or idiot?

Well, you're a liar....

you insufferable moron

Liar.

dumb as he
is

You may well be the most disgusting human being I've ever
met

"subtle" and "well crafted" I'm pleased to have "an untrained and
unappreciative palate".

A fascinating analogy. What the hell.....let's run with it.

I think it's safe to say that few people become deeply enamored of red wines
on their first tasting, and the distinction between a good one and a bad
one....by whatever criteria (objective or otherwise) one cares to judge
them.....will be lost on the newby. After that first taste one decides that
this is really cool stuff and actively pursues a greater knowledge and
appreciation....OR....one decides that this wretched **** will never again
pass one's lips.....OR (as is by far the most likely and common).....one has
more or less random encounters with wine that eventually propel one some
distance toward one or the other end of the spectrum.....even that vast
majority of us with a relatively wooden palate. In any case, compiling and
frequently referring to a list of toxic molecules to be found in red wine is
an exercise of dubious value. The budding oenophile isn't interested, the
oenophobe hardly needs it, and those still on the fence probably have little
idea of how to evaluate it......even assuming that such a list means
anything at all in the face of millions of people who have enjoyed wine in
moderation for thousands of years without suffering any ill effects. Even
as a hobby in its own right it seems to me that it lacks something after the
initial compilation is completed. And the whole thing is all the more
perplexing in one who doesn't even RECOGNIZE wine when he (or she) sees it.

Wolfgang
still, it IS an impressive list. :)

I see nothing to argue with in any of that. Um.....well, one niggling
little detail. Almonds trump peanuts.

Wolfgang
i mean, who has ever gotten hold of a can of mixed nuts and tried to snag
all the goober peas before anyone else could get them? :)

By the way, if you REALLY like peanuts, you should try these:

Caution: This could be the start of a pretty expensive habit.

....hey Jeff, no need of torturing yourself, I'm on a no/low carb diet
myself and just recently discovered in my local WM Superdupercenter, a very
low carb ice cream bar (w/o nuts 3 carbs, w/nuts 5 carbw) Splenda enters
into the equation here, but they are really good, and far and away better
than *no* ice cream bars. HTH

thanks frank...i've been eating nothing but meat (and a lot of it),
drinking nothing but diet drinks (and diet drinks mixed with no-carb
alkyhol)... it makes me crave food in a way i never imagined
possible...perhaps the ice cream-like treats will help.

nah...at home, i eat all the time. recently, i've discovered the joys
of highballs at home too. haven't been drinking as much beer. but i'm
getting little or no exercise. that combination has caused my britches
and shirts to shrink up on me and i'm getting pudgy and jiggly. when
i'm off chasing the great mystery, i don't think about the food...as
much. if i'm drinking beer, it's usually connected to a fishing trip
somewhere. so...when are you coming up? the shad won't wait on you
much longer.
