Black Bear

For Canadian/US hair wings the best references for history and original
patterns are probably Joseph Bates Salmon Flies (his Streamer Flies is
the best for the history of streamers) and Jim Bashline's book on
salmon fishing. Bashline has quite a bit on the Maine salmon flies (I
caught my first salmon on a Colbourne - a Maine pattern).
