Stanley, Idaho Presidential election results
Keeping in mind that Idaho is perhaps the reddest of red states, here's
how precinct 011 including Stanley, Idaho (my home town) voted. Kerry: 125 Bush: 88 Nader: 4 There were a couple of write-ins with a tiny number of votes. We had 83% turnout. Needless to say, Stanley is not typical of Idaho, and I, for one, am very proud of my town. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |

I'm sure it was meant merely as a harmless prank, and I bear no ill will about it, but it would have caused me a considerable degree of embarrassment if I hadn't discovered and removed it before I returned home. I worked hard to get my precinct to vote for truth and courage and fiscal sanity, instead lies and fear and corruption, and I succeeded, despite that ridiculous bumper sticker. You and Warren would best keep your damn hands off my truck in the future. It was slightly funny, though. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |

In the spirit of atonement I will confess.. Willi did it :) MT Ah, Willi. I thought it was Chas. One would never suspect Willi. Reminds me of a story: When I was a teenager, hanging with my friends, we had a fairly regular Friday nite card game. The stakes were pretty small as no one had much money. But this one night the pot had gotten high and there was even a $5 bill in it. Big money for back then! All of a sudden there was a power failure, and the lights went off for about 10 seconds. When they came back on the $5 bill was missing from the pot. No one would own up to it. The guy whos bill it was was pretty ****ed and tho we searched everyone , the bill never showed . We talked about it for years and speculated who could have done it. Many thought it was me, but it wasn t. FInally we had a just friends reunion in 2000. And the subject of the missing $5 bill came up again. And my good friend SImon copped to it!. No one suspected SImon, sort of like WIllie... G MT |

Truth? 3 purple hearts from self inflicted wounds? Embraces supporters like Clinton, a self confessed liar, cheat and thief and Teddy Kennedy who left his adultery partner to drown while he swam to safety and walked to a friends house where he asked his friend to say he was the driver? Now there's a man we need to lead our country. Not to mention hugging his ultra liberal friends like Bruce Springstein, Alec Baldwin, etal. and declaring the cesspool of humanity - Hollywood - the heart of America. ANYBODY but Kerry!!!!! Gene |

Since I was an only child, I had no siblings to pass on or share the blame when something went wrong around the house. If something went wrong when I was around, I knew I was caught. So I developed a wide range of tactics to cause my trouble in other places. Over the years I honed these skills. Through devious, subtle, underhanded tactics managed from behind the scenes, I'm responsible for every broken fly rod, dunking, lost fly box, leak in your waders, fishless outing, missing liquor and the Democrats' loss in the election. We voted overwhelmingly for Kerry. (see thread topic) We aren't typical bible thumping potato farmers and white supremacists, although a fair number of our residents chew tobacco. Possibly a majority -- even some of the chicks. Well, one anyway. :-) -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |
