Um.....I mean, yeah, he WAS a Briton.....or, so I believe, anyway.....and I'm pretty sure that he's dead (why would they lie to us about something like that......right?).....and he WAS funny......but he's not the only one. To be sure, they're not what they once were (who among us is, eh?) but the Monty Python guys WERE funny.....and a bunch of them are still around. Felicity Kendal ain't as hot as she once was (who among us is, eh?) but she's can still elicit a chuckle from me ocassionally in "Rosemary and Thyme." And then there's Tony Blair......and Mike. Let's just hope the Irish don't respond by doing the same thing with taters. Where would we put our gravy? Mark Actually, I'm a big fan of British comedy. I loved Monty Python and I am a big fan of the British comedy shows on PBS. I thought "A Fish Called Wanda" was made especially entertaining--John Cleese, Michael Palin, Maria Aitken. Of course the only one of the above three actors capable of competing with Kevin Kline (Otto), in that particular movie, was Michael Palin (Kaa kaa, kaa, Ken), IMMHNUO! Op |
