From our Scottish friends a new fishing rod material. You can never
underestimate those Scottish engineers.
Don't lay your rod in the grass if there are rabbits about.

Scottish ingenuity is--like British humor--not to be laughed at.

Which fact, to be perfectly frank about it, is not entirely lacking a
certain convoluted humour its own self.

Wolfgang

I think there are a lot of funny Brits...

Now if you'd said Scandinavian humor....

Let's just hope the Irish don't respond by doing the same thing with taters.
Where would we put our gravy?

Actually, I'm a big fan of British comedy. I loved Monty Python and I am a
big fan of the British comedy shows on PBS. I thought "A Fish Called Wanda"
was made especially entertaining--John Cleese, Michael Palin, Maria Aitken.

Of course the only one of the above three actors capable of competing with
Kevin Kline (Otto), in that particular movie, was Michael Palin (Kaa kaa,
kaa, Ken), IMMHNUO!
