What type of rod would you recommend ro fishing in a marina amongst the boats.
You don't have to cast far but you sure have to accurate. I was thinking either
a spincast where you could feather the line or a medium light 5.5' with a
spirex 1000. I found a place to fish next year that looks promising but there
is a lot of parked and moving boats.

How's about a "fishing rod" vs. say a curtaun rod or such!

The Loomis SJR 641 5'4"is a good rod for your purpose and length, is also a
good shallow vertical jig or shallow water finesse rod. If you can live with
the length the SJR721 is another awesome 8 lb test rod or SJR722 for 10 lb
test. All have lots of backbone.

I vote for the scooby doo spin cast combo for you.
