The Evil Empire played like a bunch of feebs in this Series, which was about
as anticlamactic as these things get, after the inning-by-inning hand-to-hand
combat and drama of the ALCS.

I don't think the Yanks had anything left in the tank. They knew they were
only hanging around because of a major mental ****up, and they played like
it...

Next: who will skipper the Sox in '04?

I'm hearing rumbles of Bobby Valentine...
actually, I didn't think Little was that bad, despite the Zimmer-like tendency
to misjudge the staying power of his starters.
He did hold some very disparate personalities together, and given his relief
pitching, one can hardly fault him being over optimistic over the starters. Odd
thing that the bullpen rose to the challenge in the playoffs, after being
scary-bad at times during the season.

Was that a mis-spelled "Advanced Cardiac Life Support?"

A Yankees-anybody Series means that I'd need some of that.
